Allied Health Assistant Support

Certificate IV qualified Allied Health Assistant supporting therapy programs prescribed by your OT, physio, or speech therapist. Specialized in physical disability and mobility-based rehabilitation. Supporting NDIS, TAC, and private funding pathways.

Allied Health Assistant

Supporting Your Therapy

An Allied Health Assistant (AHA) helps you implement therapy exercises and rehabilitation programs prescribed by your occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or speech therapist. AHAs do not provide therapy — we support the therapy plan your qualified clinician has designed.

Kind Freedom Australia is led by a Certificate IV qualified Allied Health Assistant specializing in physical disability and mobility-based support. We help you practice exercises, use assistive equipment, and maintain therapy routines between your sessions with your therapist.

Note: We are an unregistered provider primarily supporting self-managed and plan-managed participants. We do not provide clinical therapy services — we support programs prescribed by registered allied health professionals (OT, physio, speech).

Therapists (OT, physio, speech) are university-qualified clinicians who assess, diagnose, and prescribe therapy programs. Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) implement the programs therapists design - we do not assess or prescribe therapy.

Yes! AHA support complements therapy - it does not replace it. You still need regular sessions with your therapist for assessment, program updates, and clinical decision-making. The AHA helps you practice between sessions.

Absolutely. With your consent, we coordinate with your therapist to understand your program, report progress, and seek guidance. This ensures you're getting consistent, safe support aligned with your therapy goals.

Yes, if you have programs from multiple therapists (e.g., physio AND OT), your AHA can support all of them during the same session. We coordinate with each therapist to understand all your programs.

Our team is led by a Certificate IV qualified Allied Health Assistant with specialized training in physical disability and mobility-based support. This is the recognized national qualification for AHA support workers.
